The Firm was founded in 1969 under the name Guy G. Salts, Architect, and functioned as a single principal or proprietorship until June 1, 1976, when the Corporation was formed under the name Guy G. Salts & Associates, Inc. In 1985 the Corporation name was changed to Salts Troutman Kaneshiro, Inc. to reflect the addition of two principals. Given the growing diversity of services, principals and abilities in the ensuing years the Board of Directors determined the Corporation identity should be adjusted to reflect the broad regional capabilities of the Firm. In December of 1999 the Corporation name was changed to STK Architecture, Inc.

Our continued committment to clients and their needs has earned us the trust of some very valued individuals and organizations. Since our founding we have been involved in a diverse selection of entertainment, commercial, retail, governmental and institutional projects for a variety of established clients. In part due to our experience with governmental and corporate clients, our firm is extremely sensitive to strict time lines and limited funding.
